MEETYN use cases

Schedule study groups with one shared invitation

Bring a revision group, reading circle or peer-learning session together without maintaining a separate contact list.

Create your meeting

Make the purpose specific

Name the topic and the outcome: ‘Practice calculus questions’ tells students more than ‘Study call’. Add the chapter, reading or materials they should prepare in the description. Choose a realistic duration and confirm whether members should join a video call or meet at a physical place. Avoid putting private student information in a shareable invitation.

Share into the class conversation

Post the Meetyn link in the class chat or learning community. Members can RSVP with a name, without giving the organizer an email address or creating a Meetyn account. The organizer can use Going and Maybe totals to decide whether the session needs a smaller breakout plan, a larger room or a different date.

Let a co-organizer help

Add a trusted teammate to the workspace with an editor role if they should update the plan and review responses. Keep administrative roles for people responsible for membership. When a session moves, edit its existing invitation and tell the group what changed. Calendar exports help members save the agreed time without making Meetyn their learning platform.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add preparation notes?

Yes. Use the description for an agenda and preparation instructions, without sensitive personal information.

Can another organizer edit the session?

Yes. An authorized editor, admin or owner in the workspace can manage its meetings.

Is this a classroom or learning management system?

No. Meetyn coordinates the meeting; your existing learning tools remain the place for coursework.
